Large abstract multi-paneled painting in acrylic and vintage silk kimono fabric on separate canvases mounted together

This artwork consists of different pieces of canvas. These canvases are painted at the same time in one flow – with only the colour black – and then separated and mounted together in a different way to create a new piece. These painted canvases are mixed with pieces with very old silk vintage kimono fabric.

The idea behind this artwork is the ‘reconstruction of our reality’.
If we wish to change our world, first we have to change the idea of ‘reality’ that defines it.

Signed on the back. Varnished for protection. Ready to hang, no frame required. The stability of the artwork is guaranteed, since solid mounting material and extra wooden planks are used.
