From my ongoing Zen Study series. When painting my Zen Studies I keep in mind the seven characteristics of Zen Aesthetics written down in the book ‘Zen and the Fine Arts’ by Shin’ichi Hisamatsu.
The artwork is inspired by the idea that we are now at the start of a new era in which we as humans will live much more in harmony with nature. The dawn of a new way of thinking and living. So we can save nature including ourselves on this beautiful planet.
